What do you call people you follow on Twitter? “Followees”?
Oooh, felt like Friday for a second there. That was nice, if fleeting.
Dangerously behind on Planet Plone.
RT @5tu RT @davidstripinis: Creepiest thing I’ve seen all week. And I see a lot of creepy things. http://bit.ly/2CqFfI (via @leeunkrich)
How is it that my Twitter updates now suddenly become Facebook status when I don’t even have Twitter app in FB anymore?
Yet again, disappointed that Firefox doesn’t play nice with its former self. During transitions, I always need to run both for a few months.
RT @alexlindsay: Overhead: “Sometimes I’m fine with being a jerk so that I don’t have to deal with aftermath of being nice.”
3rd (4th?) foray into #GTD is going well. It takes coming back to it over time. Adopt 1 part or another here and there. Thanks @gtdguy!
Super-fly yo-yo freestylin’.
Can’t believe the business end of my Wacom Intuos2 pen died for some reason.
Seriously Apple, application tabs (groups) in next iPhone update. Manageable on phone or in iTunes.
Sunshine is qcool sci-fi. Don’t know why it took me so long to see it, I was already a Danny Boyle fan. Not enough good sci-fi these days.
p.s. New blinking in and out TwitterFon ads are super annoying.
Seriously, what is up with the commercials on CurrentTV? Some gimic where they show 1 for like 2 seconds and then cut to another, a lot.
Has Joe Biden been quietly exiled? Keep seeing pictures of him in other countries. #imjustsayin
Whoever came up with the upside-down browser tab UI element, you vex me daily.

Yeah, what @jaymeyocum said. Matt Butcher and the Revolvers were great opening for @theavettbros at Parker Playhouse, an equally great venue
Going to see @theavettbros for the 3rd time tonight. Lake Worth, Gainesville, now Ft. Lauderdale. They are movin’ up in the world.
Wondering what the role of Adobe Director is these days, in the world of Flash, Flex, Air, etc.
Saw Harry Potter: The Empire Strikes Back. Really good.
Also, if Hogwarts is rockin’, don’t come a knockin’!
Back when we just wanted browsers to be standards compliant, I never could have predicted this mess: http://www.zeldman.com/x/38
Getting stuff done today. Feels better than the hours-long battle I had with FreeBSD yesterday. I punted, to fight that battle another day.
Netflix would make out better if they charged all the people who refuse to upgrade to Blu-Ray an extra $.25 instead of charging me a $1.
In Florida, there is no Cold side of the faucet in summer. Warm and Hot are your choices. At least in “winter” the cold water doesn’t hurt.
Anyone know how to start Plone in Ubuntu automatically? Trying to create Upstart Job Definition, but it’s not starting. #plone
Installed Plone on our Ubuntu computer at home for @jaymeyocum and I to explore and experiment.
Lamenting the absence of game modding on consoles. I miss Deathball for Unreal Tournament 2004.
Finally finished integrating CushyCMS into my friend’s site. Seems pretty cool. We”ll see how it goes.
Finally finished Brave New World, first Kindle read. Lamenting the loss of “loanability” but liking the paper/space savings and portability.
RT @alexlindsay: And RC SR-71 that really works… http://bit.ly/mEjyg … need I say more?
Why is “Add to Wishlist” for Kindle books only available on “See all Customer Reviews” page?
RT @5tu: Amazing Super-8 footage from the old ILM in Van Nuys: http://bit.ly/14uE1i Back when VFX involved actual things!
Thinking about the logistics and lifespan of digital family photos for those of us who rarely make prints.
Nice Type http://vimeo.com/nicetype/
Amused by the idea of Google Voice answering my robocalls. Imagining these two computers striking up a conversation and making a date.
Gave up on Xen. :-( Set up Ubuntu, SSH, vnc4server, automount my Mac Samba share. Pretty happy with it so far.
Engine and cabin air filters and wipers myself, oil change and tire rotation by JiffyLube. Cue sense of accomplishment.
Snuggie commercial…in June. Really?
